This section deals with gathering opinions pertaining to CR pedagogy and research. It probes into areas such as leadership role perceptions, topic preferences for teaching within CR, content assimilation and keenness to engage in CR teaching and research initiatives.

4.1 Leadership Roles for Management Institutions  

For the furtherance of the CR agenda in business education, it is important to understand if Management Institutions perceive a significant role in creating young leaders for the future.

All the respondents (100 percent) agreed they needed to take the lead in facilitating and producing dynamic leadership in youth for social and environmental stewardship.

 
 
 

4.2 Perception on I nvestment in CR teaching and research

While cent percent of Management Institutions subscribe to the idea of having a role to play in building leadership for the future in pursuit of the CR agenda, this opinion does not entirely translate into a belief that their leadership, as institutions in the 21st century, will be driven by investment in CR teaching and research. This perception reflects the importance attached to CR in terms of it being a factor in institutional growth and leadership.

A sizeable 85.6 percent of the sample surveyed subscribe to the idea that it is reasonable to invest in CR teaching and research and that doing so will foster the leadership of Management Institutions in the 21st century.
