Student strength in compulsory modules on CR in Business Administration programmes was found to be largely in the range of 100-200 (35.7 percent). Other programmes such as Environment, Safety, Social Work, etc., report having similar strength with 40.7 percent of the Management Institutions surveyed citing enrolment to be between 100 and 200 students.
Indicative CR course list for both compulsory and optional modules
Indicatively, some business programmes which have compulsory or optional modules on CR are MBA (full-time), PGDBM, PGDBA, MMS and Bachelors in Business Administration (BBA). Other programmes reported are Masters in Health Management, Rural Management, Social Work, Forest Management, Industry and Safety. Some of these CR courses within programmes are Ethics, Corporate Ethics, Values and Ethics, and Social Marketing.
Levels at which compulsory or optional CR courses are offered
The Management Institutions surveyed cite three levels at which these courses, whether compulsory or optional, are offered. They are graduate, post-graduate and doctoral. At the doctoral level, however, as against having a compulsory or optional CR module, CR is a dedicated topic of study.

Many Management Institutions, irrespective of whether they offer dedicated programmes or compulsory courses on CR, also afford the provision of letting students take up CR courses as electives.
