11.7 Recognition received for CR

Explanatory note: Merely 13 percent of the respondents confirmed receiving recognition or accolades over the last three years. The best acknowledged company category among these was MNCs with 28 percent recording a positive response. Indian companies were the poorest performers on this count at 10 percent. In terms of sectors, IT and ITES, at 14 percent, emerged as the most recognised business segment. Pharmaceuticals were by far the poorest performing segment with a mere two percent. The awards received were mainly national level awards and the share of international level awards was very low. Amongst the companies which reported receiving recognition, around 77 percent of the companies said that the awards were national in nature, six percent claimed that the rewards were international in nature and 16 percent said that the awards were both national and international in nature

 

 
 

11.8 CR case studies published

A very small proportion of the companies (10%) reported that their CR case studies were published in the last year. The proportion of companies that reported their CR case studies being published the year before was low across the different types of companies with 14 percent of PSUs, 13 percent of MNCs and nine percent of Indian companies reporting the same.
