Power
The majority (77%) of power sector respondents reported recognising a leadership role for themselves in the sector towards incorporating responsible business practices. Amongst these, 69 percent of Indian companies and 89 percent of PSUs placed themselves in stewardship roles towards the pursuit of integrating responsible business practices.
FMCG (non food sector))
The FMCG segment reported 62 percent of all companies appreciating the need and space for them discharging leadership responsibilities within their sector with a view to inculcating responsible business practices. Across Indian companies, MNCs and PSUs, the most conscious of this need at 67 percent was MNCs followed by Indian companies at 62 percent.
ITES
A majority of the IT - ITES business segment (59%) expressed the need to take charge within their sector in achieving responsible business practices. Across sectors, the entirety of PSUs (100%) confirmed the perception of this need while a good 75 percent of MNCs interviewed said they believed the onus of leading their sector to this end was on them.
Auto and Auto Ancillary
